This marker light is really nice and can be used in many different applications. I have mine with my EMS equipment and use it attached to myself or partner to be easily identified. With this being water proof to 150 meters I do not have to worry about using them out in the weather. They are powered by a AAA battery and the manufacturer states this light will operate for 108 hours on one battery. They are made out of quality POM plastic and aluminum, making them durable to last years. The 'strobe' flashes 3 times per second. These are easyto turn on/off even with medical gloves on by just a simple twist. The only negative I can report at this time is that the light is not very bright. It is actually dim. This is an area that needs improvements. Other than that I am overall happy with these.

We own a couple of these. This brand is similar in size and function to them all. It seems sturdy and well made, with a plastic and aluminum body, and has nice weight in the hand. The aluminum part is covered in an anti-corrosive material. It has a double waterproof O-ring and is rated to 150m which is more than sufficient. It is intuitive to turn on and off, with a twist. The AAA battery is included and the low wattage means the battery life is substantial. It attaches with a lanyard. I expect if taken care of, it will last quite a while.The light is sustainable and has a nice pulse but the light output is quite soft. At first I thought there must be a setting for brightness, but there isn't. For comparison, a Christmas tree light bulb is probably 2-times brighter than this light. It is the softest light of all that I own.This light is a nice safety beacon for less turbid waters but if you are relying on it in waters with very limited visibility, I would choose a brighter product.
