i got these for a play ground I'm building for my kinds and these are very sturdy and won't be a concern at all. these are more them sturdy enough to hold the kids forever. The 1,800 pound weight rating is wildly excessive for swings but i might build them something like a "ship swing" to hang from these.

I used these swing hangers on my family's custom-made 2-story, beast of a outdoor playset to attach not only traditional swings but an adult-sized 4-point, 2-person rocking horse, as well as a standing platform swing. I liked them so much I got another set, to finish all of these installations. I love the SS finish, giving me confidence that all of this work would not fail in a few years from shedding galvanized coatings or inferior metal quality. Very pleased.

This is a perfect eye bolt. What makes this great is the length and is great if you planning to install this on a thick lumber or something. Another great feature is the roller bearings. This bearing will make anything attached to the eye bolt swing smoothly.
