I understand the appeal of these telecom devices, they excel at communicating with identical units but leave room for improvement. While they're lightweight enough to attach to a helmet and sit comfortably near my ears, certain limitations make them challenging to use in loud environments or windy conditions. Additionally, for the Bikom to function properly, everyone needs to use the same headset system, which is inconvenient since not everyone is willing to invest in a device that's only good for a single purpose. For instance, they can cost as much as AirPods, yet with AirPods, I can simply make a group call and we are not limited to one system. I'm sure these devices have their audience, but to me, they're essential for the hardcore biker, not the casual rider tagging along. Also, they require the use of a phone app in order to advantage of mesh features, so I'm still tethered to my phone. For the price they charge, I expected a bit more.

The Sena BiKom 20 outdoor mesh communication system has significantly improved communication during my outdoor activities. The mesh technology provides a stable and reliable connection, and the lightweight design (only 20 grams) is barely noticeable. The audio quality is clear, and the range is impressive. It's easy to use and has made coordinating with my group much easier. A great investment for anyone who needs reliable communication in the great outdoors.

Range is better than the Sena Pi. The mic's pickup seems to be better as well since it mostly pickups the human voice instead of all the sounds around you. I should have gotten a third one for my daughter, unfortunately I cannot order the single pack to the Philippines as of the moment and I'm only allowed to order a dual pack.

This is a great communication system for outdoors. The headset is super light and small, very easy to attach it to a helmet. The sound is sharp and clear. The battery can last up to 7 hours which is enough for any day trips.You will need to download the Sena cycling app to set up the device, It doesn't include the quick reference menu in the box, and I was having trouble pairing it at first. I'm including it here so you can see all the functions. Once paired, there is most likely a firmware update to install. After all done and set, it's easy to set up the mesh intercom on the phone. This is a very good and high end system for outdoors communication, especially for sports.
