Getting way too invested/knowledgeable about cups. 13 yr old son playing catcher. Last year got him the compression shorts because he outgrew the "cup underwear" which was like briefs. He hated the fit of the compression shorts. Made the cup too loose and not stay put he said. Went with this since he has grown and outgrew the cup itself. He said this was way better, like it was when he first started playing at 8 yrs old and had to wear a cup and didn't complain at all about it. Stays close to your body, doesn't move he said. So if you have a teen who has started moving into adult size shoes, pants, shirts and needs a bigger cup, I recommend this one.

My son is 13, 5'6" and wears a men's small or medium pant. I ordered a Rawlings men's small and of course being a young teen a men's cup is too big even for his inner thigh area and they push up. I took a chance on the youth XL with medium cup in this brand and it fits perfectly. No rubbing or pushing. He is very happy and comfortable.

Not only did this take forever to arrive when it did it doesn't fit. I ordered a youth XL, the label says that but they are more like youth small. Useless for my son.
