The book is well designed with furigna and index with meaning. It'sgood for pre intermediate to pre advance.

I can't recommend because of the extremely short sentences. Reading this didn't feel natural at all to me.Also the stories sometimes felt too fabricated for the sake of adding a "plot twist".The vocabulary aid and the questions about the text are nice.

Unlike other books for language learners, this one actually has stories that are rich and captivating, yet simple enough for intermeadiate learners to follow, like it's supposed to be. Also, the instructions on how to read it given at the introduction are actually useful, and its obvious that it was written by someone who actually knows how language learning works. However, there are two negative things i would like to point out:1 - The stories in this book are limited to 300 kanji, which is understandable, since its target audience is intermediate language learners. The problem is that there are some words -- which are usually written with kanji -- that appear with hiragana only and may confuse the reader who has a kanji knowledge greater than 300. I sometimes find myself looking up words that i already know because of this. That said, i think it would be best if the author had simply used whatever kanji necessary (even if it was advanced kanji) and just put furigana along with it everytime.2 - There is an audio resource available for this book, BUT you have to pay for it separately.

Il libro propone testi in giapponese di vario livello, alcuni vocaboli sono tradotti in inglese per facilitare la comprensione. Non si trovano molti libri per esercitare la lettura pertanto lo consiglio.

Tuve que devolverlo por comprarlo en idioma incorrecto pero mis hijos ya lo han leído en inglés y les gustó mucho.
