This bracket does what it's supposed to do. It allows you to install two 2.5" drives in a standard 3.5" drive bay. This bracket does have the full footprint of a 3.5" drive, so if you are space-constrained, keep this in mind. Some other brackets are shorter -- just a bit longer than the 2.5" drive -- which can make life much easier if you're struggling to route cables and the 3.5" drive bays in your case aren't full drive length.

Nach der bitteren Erfahrung von Fehlkäufen ist dieser Rahmen endlich ein geeignetes Zubehör, um eine SSD in eine Dell Precision Workstation einzubauen. Perfekt.

This bracket enabled me to outfit an older PC in a small case with a hard drive and SSD by replacing the 3.5" drive with two 2.5" drives. That improvement has breathed serious new life into the system. The holes are all drilled well and posed absolutely no problems for the installation. The metal is plenty thick and is well finished. I got a second system shortly after installing this first bracket, and I have a second one of these on order. Thank you, SilverStone. Tools needed: Box cutter or knife to open the box, Phillips screwdriver with smaller head, tweezers or needle nose pliers.Unboxing was relatively easy, but still needed a box cutter to cut two small, fairly strong pieces of tape on the adapter box, as well as the outer shipping box (I had this shipped with other items.) Drive was snugly and safely packaged.This drive adapter does what it is supposed to: Allows you to mount 2x 2.5" drives in a 3.5" (standard desktop hard drive) bay. Comes with a full set of screws: 8 fine thread drive screws for mounting 2.5" drives in the adapter, 4 coarse thread screws to mount the adapter in a drive bay or sled. There are cutouts in the adapter for your screwdriver. Drives fit tightly in the adapter (one Intel drive, one Samsung EVO). You hardly need the screws since the drives don't actually have any moving parts. However, if you're "detail oriented" enough (like me) to want to actually use a drive adapter instead of having the drives loose in the case - lets face it, you will use the screws. So have some tweezers or needle-nose pliers handy.Now, the (minor) negatives. It's kind of fiddly to get your screws into position for mounting the drives, unless you have tiny fingers. I ended up using tweezers. While the drives are spaced with a gap between them, there was barely (barely!) space to fit the power to both drives. Admittedly, I do have a better SilverStone power supply with slightly thicker/bulkier cables than the average power supply.

Habe diesen Rahmen für meine Selbstbaunas gekauft. Verarbeitung top, keine scharfen Kanten.Passt mit zwei 2,5 Zoll Festplatten in einen 3,5 Zoll Schacht. Preis auch ok. Daher 5 Sterne.

Dieser Rahmen hat im Prinzip die Größe einer 3,5 Zoll Festplatte und die Schraublöcher passen perfekt (seitlich oder von unten). Selbst Schnelleinbaurahmen wie bei Dell Computern passen sofort.Fazit:Der perfekte Rahmen um SSDs in vorhandene Desktop oder Tower-Gehäuse einzubauen.
