This triple pack of ice cube trays arrives in a easy to recycle plastic bag. Each of the trays are well made from a durable easy to clean mix of plastic and silicone. A type of product, which when you consider it, doesn't sound very exciting.But, this set is rather different from your usual type of tray. Firstly all 3 trays have silicone bottoms and, unlike plastic, silicone doesn't go hard when in a freezer. Which means to get an ice cube out is as simple as pressing the bottom.Yep that's right, no more struggling to prise a cube out with a knife. Plus no more watching every cube fall on the floor except for the one you're trying to get out. With these it's press the base and there's a cube.Secondly these trays do make some pretty sizable ice cubes. Which means cubes melting slower and keep drinks colder for longer. So these are great for bigger water bottles.Obviously that size increase compared to normal does mean one thing. Some glasses or bottles etc might be too small for a cube or two. But that "problem" can easily solved by placing a large cube in a freezer bag and giving it a quick whack to break the cube up.Another "non problem" with these trays is the risk of spillage, with these trays that risk is almost eliminated. That's because these come with lids, which prevent spills and contamination in the freezer. Plus these can be stacked as well.Overall ? These easy to use trays are just right if you need a lot of ice.

Actually quite impressed with these. They seem to combine the best of both silicone ice cube trays (the flexibility making it easy to get ice cubes out) and the more traditional solid ice cube trays (the ridigity making them easier to store when they contain water). The rigid clear plastic lids are great, making them much easier to store and stack.The recommendation is to not fill them to the top, and when you're wanting to get ice cubes out, to give them a short period of time after taking out of the freezer to allow the edges to free up a little.Once the edges of the cubes have had time to melt just a little, the cubes come out really easily and they last much longer than my normal cubes in my drinks.

I love these! It's hard to be enthused by ice-cube trays but these are brilliant. I love the fact that they are larger than the normal ice cubes and take a while to melt. They are not too large to fit into my water bottle though so chipping the corners to force them inside. The lids are a great bonus as is the rigidity of the trays, making it really easy to fill and take to the freezer, a bonus for me as my freezer is not housed in the kitchen. It's a thumbs up all round for this set of three.

Set of 3 ice cube trays, made from silicone with lids. The moulds are nice and big so much so that i dont use them to make ice cubs as there perfect for freeze things like herbs as when i buy fresh ones i only use a small amount and the rest ends up in the bin but not anymore, i also use them to freeze portions of tomato puree, garlic puree thing like that as once i open them they could be there for some time before i get to use the whole tube. Because they are made of silicone and not hard plastic it makes it so much easy to get things out.Would recommend.

🔸 Pros:✔️ Super easy to pop out the ice cubes✔️ Flexible and durable silicone material✔️ Lids prevent freezer odors and make stacking easier✔️ Great size for slow-melting cubes in drinks✔️ Dishwasher safe for easy cleaning⚠️ Cons:⚠️ Lids are not 100% leak-proof – Best to place the trays on a flat surface in the freezer.⚠️ Takes a bit longer to freeze compared to smaller ice cube trays – Due to the large cube size.

Leider habe ich nun alle Formen durchprobiert und die Eiswürfel schmecken leider nach Plastik/Silikon.

Trotz der Deckel läuft Wasser aus. Dafür viel zu teuer. Das bekommt man woanders günstiger.

Formen geben irgend etwas ins Wasser ab, was danach im Getränk schwimmt. Würde mich nicht wundern, wenn das krebserregende Weichmacher sind. Zumindest riecht es beim wieder warm werden bestialisch.
