I'm a SmallRig fan because most of my experience with their products have been generally positive. They are now no longer the underdog when it comes to photography and videography gear, but their experience shows in every product I've purchased and owned.This set of diffusion filters is not something I was expecting to be available for the Pocket 3, but I'm so glad they made it.Diffusion filters help soften up the scene just a tad bit while still retaining sharpness. This can really help make certain scenes more dreamy and also wipe away some skin imperfections (I've used diffusion filters mostly for photography).I will post updates about this as I use the filters more - although note that Amazon highly compresses video footage uploaded for some reason, so the effect might not be as dramatic.You know what is dramatic? Being able to use a VND, which this combines. (Variable neutral density filter). Combining the two is special because you can't really stack too many physical filters on the Pocket 3 without potentially damaging the life of the gimbal.My footage will definitely be more cinematic with the addition of these filters.*** This review to be updated with more use of the filters ***

I love this small set of 3 magnetic filters for the Osmo Pocket 3. With two of the three filters having a nice 1/4 Black Pro-mist diffusion added the images come out soft yet pleasing to the eye.The ND16 + CPL combo is great for cutting light/reflections and being that it is a circular polarizer I am able to adjust the polarization effect easily by turning the filter to be able to get clear shots through windows or water.The 2 to 5 stop VND is my goto everyday filter for the Osmo as it allows me to cut down enough light for most scenarios while keeping the 180 shutter angle (1/50 shutter speed at 24fps, and 1/120 shutter speed at 60fps) keeping my footage smooth and cinematic.The 6 point star filter is the one filter that I am admittedly using the least but the cool star effect would make for some dreamy yet unique shots at night and I do plan on playing around/experimenting with this filter a bit more.I like that the filters are able to magnetically attach to the Osmo Pocket 3 and not get in the way of the gimbal when you shut off the camera. The lens element is still able to fold into the gimbal mechanism keeping your lens and filter protected. My one gripe was that although the magnetic attachment was convenient for attaching the different filters I did find it a little hard to remove them without fumbling or dropping them as they are so small/light weight. Overall this is the perfect little set that comes in a nice protective box that can fit into my small Neewer carrying case.

This is a quality set of specialty filters for the Pocket 3. The filters attach magnetically and the kit includes a combo 1/4 black diffusion plus fixed neutral density 16 plus circular polarizing filter, a combo 1/4 black diffusion and variable neutral density filter and a 6-Point Star Filter. That gives me a number of options.Anytime I'm in a harsh lighting condition like snow or water on a bright day and I want to soften it a bit, the black diffusion/mist filter is does the trick especially in combination with 16 ND glass and polarizer. The next filter is 1/4 black diffusion with a variable 2-5 stop polarizer which again slightly softens my photos but gives me latitude over my exposure and ultimate desired effect. The last filter is a 6-point star filter which creates in my photos or videos, a pointed-star effect from objects that are reflective.Also included with the set is a screen cover which is useful and greatly appreciated.Cons: Overall, it's a great set but there's room for improvement.-The filters are understandably small with minuscule writing and its difficult to distinguish one type filter from another especially in low lighting. I'd like to see them color coded! Stripes/dots, anything to make it easier to quickly select the correct one would be appreciated! I'll likely add some paint to them myself.-Secondly, I would prefer a smaller storage case with a better way to remove the filters. The filters are stored in foam in a flat shallow recess and its easy to accidentally get fingerprints on them when attempting to grasp the sides to remove them.Bottom Line: Quality set of filters that give me lots of options for various lighting conditions. I have no complaints about the optics and think they are a great value. They are somewhat difficult to remove from the storage case and to discern one from another in poor lighting conditions.

I haven't had much time to try these filters out outside yet, but I can definitely say they fit on my Pocket 3 perfectly. I'm looking forward to playing with them more this spring and summer and fully testing out what they can do. These filters are so cool!

Does exactly what it says. Adds a more cinematic look to your videos. Definitely recommend.
