I use to make my rig vertical so this is a quick mechanism to convert my nato rails into arcaswiss so I mount my camera vertically

There are very few clean solutions for the problem of adapting directly from NATO to Arca. This one is essentially a combination NATO Clamp plus Arca plate, in a more space- & weight-efficient form-factor, with more aesthetic appeal, and no need to worry about anti-twist issues, at likely half the price or better relative to cobbling it together for yourself; and with the high quality materials and construction typical of SmallRig.The clamp came out of the box with more than enough tension to completely lock onto my SmallRig HawkLock NATO rail (and also a generic high-profile NATO rail I own).My HawkLock rail is attached to the grip-side of my SmallRig cage, which also has an Arca interface on the bottom; so with this adapter, I can now easily mount the camera into any Arca clamp in both landscape and portrait orientations.I'm currently using it on my Glidecam head, where it's an incredibly efficient low-weight solution that lets me trivially switch between landscape and portrait orientations without needing to adjust my counterweights.

klasse ausgeführte Klemme, mit dem Teil kann auch eine im Cage eingebaute Kamera mit Natoschiene an eine Arca Klemme befestigt werden.Smallrig typisch sehr gut verarbeitet.

Halt bei mir einen kleinen Monitor auf einer verlängerten Arca-Swiss-Schiene direkt neben der Kamera. Super Teil.

Fits my needs perfectly for switching between a portrait photo plate and hand held video grip (remove plate, attach small rig rotating grip).FYI, if you remove the four screws from the arca plate you can remove the red tension handle and rotate the exposed tensioning screw to adjust the nato clamp strength.

Es gibt Zubehör, da fragt man sich, wieso es noch niemand früher so gebaut hat.Endlich kann ich vom Smartphone bis zur Lampe sämtliches Zubehör stabil und schnell auf ein Stativ bringen.Wenn sie es jetzt noch schaffen, auf der Unterseite der Arca einen Locating Pin für Video-Kupplungen zu berücksichtigen, der zusätzlich ein Verdrehen verhindert, bzw. man vorhandene Mounts nutzen kann, mach ich Luftsprünge (also, sinnbildlich…).
