[Installationstipps]

2. Reinigen Sie die Oberfläche des Installationsortes, feuchtes Tuch empfohlen, stellen Sie sicher, dass kein Staub vorhanden ist.
3. Verwenden Sie nach Möglichkeit einen Haartrockner.
4. Installieren Sie vorsichtig, drücken Sie hart für 30 Sekunden, vor allem die Kante.
5. Nach der Installation innerhalb von 48 Stunden kein Abwischen oder Reinigen.

I typically do not write reviews, but I thought it would be in my best to in this case. I bought this wind deterrent gasket band for the glass roof window hoping the noise would cut down. And in just over two weeks time I did not notice any reduction in noise. Additionally, the band ended up breaking and flapping out of place (please refer to image). I have since removed the band from my Tesla and highly encourage all prospective buyers to save their money and avoid buying this item.

This seems to actually reduce the wind noise when driving at highway speeds.Installation was fairly easy but I learned a few tricks to make it easier to install. First, don't install it on a hot day in the sun; I burned my fingers on the hot glass roof.The rubber seal is one big loop so it is best to make two marks that divide the tube in half. During installation, make sure that these two marks are aligned opposite each other to make sure the loop does not bunch up on one side. I started by inserting one mark in the middle of the front slot (directly above the front camera). I then inserted to the right and then to the left until I rounded the both front corners. At that point, I found my opposite mark and placed it in the middle of slot that is between the two plates of glass. Then I worked my way to both edges. Then I finished by inserting the sides.Another tip is to use isopropyl/rubbing alcohol to make it install easier. The alcohol makes it slippery and it goes right into the slots, and then it dries right away.A couple of interesting things to note: the webpage says to use "adhesion promoter. It also says to pull off the adhesive backing. Lastly, it says it comes 2 non-woven wipes. None of this was accurate for the package I received. But then, the adhesive was not even needed.It did come with the installation tool and an air freshener.UPDATE 1/14/23 The band broke and now there is about a 1.5 inch gap between the ends. I don’t think it makes much of a difference in noise buts it’s broken nonetheless in less than 6 months. I dropped the rating from 5 to 4 stars.

this fits, with some difficulty, but does nothing for sound reduction that we could discern. removed it now to prevent excess wear to the existing seal.

The first one I got, I mannaged to get on the car, the next morning I came back to the car and it was snapped and dangling on my windshield.I requested a new one and it came smelling like solvents and in the conditioned shown in the picture. I think they just took someone else's return, tried to glue it back together and pass it off to me. Its not easy to install by yourself, assuming it even stays together.Buyer beware.I chose to buy this from Amazon because I didn't trust Ali-Express... the irony.
