Took an output seal from a Buick Lesabre transmission. Had to use this tool in conjunction with a chisel to get the old seal out. Wow! Half an hour.

Tool is well built and the spare hook plate is a nice addition, but out the box the hooks aren’t actually sharp enough to get in under oil seals to remove them - it was just slipping off the edge of the cup. I took a file to it and sharpened up the edges which solved the problem and made this tool a lot more effective. With a gentle tap from a hammer to get the hook in under the seal cup it made light work of removing 4x spark plug oil seals on my Mercedes rocker cover which is normally a pig of a job. Knocked 1 star off for the tool needing sharpened before it was usable, but still happy with the purchase and made a difficult job much easier
