In the image it says 150 mm opening but this isn't true. The metal cover has an opening of 148 mm but the glassfiber heating element inside has a opening of 137 mm, while most 1000ml flasks have a outer diameter of 140 mm. This results in the flask not touching the bottom of the heating mantle.I don't recommend this heating mantle except if you have very small 1000ml flasks.
