Arrived in small branded box. Basic instructions, small bag of extra tips and very short usbc charging cable included. Came powered up. You'll need your own wall outlet charger and likely a longer charging cable.Comparing to a Renaisser 520C, it's longer and bit heavier but not unmanageable.. Has internal magnet for sticking to laptop or other metal anchor points. USBc charging port is located near the top of the stylus barrel, on the side. Doesn't matter where the port is, someone will complain about the design. All I can say is the port is well made enough, the usbc fits without undue force and it isn't so loose there's rattling or the cable falling off.The port has a silicone cap to keep debris out of the port. This is a nice design touch and if you fiddle, it's there to play with but the port cap is likely to be the first thing that goes AWOL as it doesn't have a retainer strap. This unit's tip looks more like the original > point on the Dell stylus that comes with the 7506 laptop, but unlike that stylus, this one actually works. The tip on this one is a softer material than the hard unresponsive plastic of the Dell stylus. It takes far less pressure to use, has some resistive drag more like a pencil point. Depending on your usage, the tip may wear out. There are replacements included, so long as you don't lose the teeny bag, and you might find more online. The side button has top/bottom and possibly middle functions. It can't be manually turned off but does time out, like my Renaisser. The action pressure on this unit's bar button is more 'crunchy' than the Renaisser 520/520c but works. Can't speak to longevity.Haven't fully tested it as a drawing tool with programs to see how much skip it has for lines, etc. It does slant. It does seem to have palm rejection.Upshot, you can use this as a working replacement for the crappy 7506 2 in 1 stylus. That thing needs replacing -5 seconds after you receive it.

I find this stylus to react poorly on my Surface so I end up using it very little. I was hoping to use it to draw with but it does now work well enough.

I could not figure out how to link it to my Microsoft surface laptop. I got the pen to turn on, but it would not turn off. I do not recommend buying

If you're looking for a simple but effective stylus then you can't really go wrong with this. It's simple to use in that you turn it on and use it! There's no need to pair it or anything like that, it just works right out of the box. It features a USB-C charging port which is always a bonus (I hate devices that still use Micro-USB!) and it comes with some extra stylus tips for when/if the one fitted out the box runs down.It has two buttons on the side that can be used to either drag (such as a textbox) or erase. The only thing I will mention, I'm not sure if it's just a setting on my Surface as I haven't looked. It states that the top button is the "right click" and the bottom button is the "erase." On mine this is the opposite way round. Like I say though, this could just be down to a setting on my Surface so I haven't let it affect the review in anyway, just thought it was worth mentioning. The magnet appears to be quite strong, in fact the first time I came to use my Surface after getting this stylus, I thought the pen had fallen out my bag as I couldn't find it! It had actually managed to stick itself to my Surface so I can confirm it definitely works!
