Bought for my son for our trip. He’s 7 and the adjustable straps were able to adjust to his side. He’s a nervous swimmer, so this was a great tool to help him remain calm and confident while we were in the pool. He has some sensory issues, and this float didn’t bug him one bit. He was able to put it on and off on his own. What makes this float better compared to the other options out there is the ability to take layers of the foam out as your child progresses in swimming. This float also doesn’t restrict the arms, and keeps the child in the right position to swim properly unlike water wings and puddle jumpers. Mind you this is a swimming tool, and children need to have constant supervision regardless what type of swimming apparatus they are using. I highly recommend this product when used appropriately.

We love this floaty! We just received it and our 4 year old loves it. It's allowing him to use his arms and legs to learn the proper way to swim!

This is excellent for a 3 year old learning to swim. It doesn’t hinder their arms, like other buoyancy aids do, and it’s not bulky. I thus allowing them a to front crawl or play normally unhindered. You can also remove some of the foam sheets, front and back, so that they get use to supporting them self but by bit over time, rather than all at once. I understand everyone learns differently but my son loved this, and it did wonders for his confidence in the water. Very good quality!

Swim instructor approved. This little vest is amazing. It keeps my kids arms free to practice swim strokes and also allows her to get her face down in the water while she swims. While the floatie vests with arms can make it harder for kids to learn how to swim bc it keeps them vertical in the water, this vest allows them to transition easily from floating to swimming.Love that the bouyancy is adjustable as well as she gets older. Child is currently 3 but we started her in this at age 2.

Really happy we purchased this it is helping my child gain their confidence we have removed all but 3 foam pads and it's really helping gain the skills needed to swim
