I purchase 3 of this lights for scuba diving, two of the three lights never worked, unfortunately it was for an overseas trip and my return window closed. the one that works the light is very faint. I must say all three lights worked on terra firme, I even purchased the recommended grease for them as well. I turn them on and off while on the boat to avoid moving them underwater; but as soon as we hit the water they stop working and haven't worked since. Upon my return from the dive trip I inspected them and found no water had penetrated, so I change the batteries just in case but they never came back on. I see a lot of reviews for dog collars and other uses above the water, but I DO NOT RECOMMEND this item for your diving trips. I cannot trust equipment like this for is always a gamble.

Works as advertised. I like the ability to change colours and to be flashing or solid on.

This is very temperamental!! I do not dive but I dog walk and usually at night, I I really wanted to be seen. Something that can even be seen in fog ( which it works as I have tested). The only thing is, no matter how yard I have tried, I can only get the red flashing light. You twist to turn on and to get the different light settings. So I'm supposed to get static blue, then static red, followed by flashing blue and flashing red. I have twisted it so slowly and still only getting flashing red!!. I have unscrewed, removed batteries, added foil, checked the connector in the battery bay but not a single thing has worked. I can only assume that deep inside there is a connection issue somewhere out of reach.So the red flashing light is great in fog and I can be seen. I twisted the lanyard around the strap of my dog walking bag at the back so I can be seen from behind by any car. My hubby has said the light is really strong and can be seen from a far. I just wish the light had markers on it so when you twisted it, it would be any of the three I cannot seem to see. Size wise it's roughly my thumb size in length and I wear size medium gloves as a rough indicator. It has some weight too it but not value for money when I cannot get any of the other lights to work.
