I ordered and received this TDZ EZ Shift neutral gear assist lever to use on my 2018 H-D Sport Glide. I was not having problems with shifting or finding neutral, but decided to give it a try based on positive reviews for the KRAUS EZ Shift product. However, I did not like KRAUS's $92 price tag.The TDZ EZ Shift assist lever is very nice. It's well made, the quality is decent, it's lightweight, the finish is spot on, and the gold color is even and consistent. It's priced far better than the KRAUS EZ shift, and I'm confident that it works exactly the same.Installing this product wasn't a nightmare, but also not as simple as others might want you to believe. It took me about 30 minutes from start to finish, with the biggest problem being undoing the linkage behind the primary case. It was a bit problematic, as I had to hold the shift lever back to clear the case as I attempted to remove and replace screws. Which reminds me... I had to use a T30 Torx to remove the screw from the linkage to the shift lever, and I needed a 6mm hex wrench to install the included bolts. I used the supplied hex wrench to tighten the set screw.Another issue I had was separating the bolt from the linkage that attaches to the shift lever. It was stuck, and I had to fully remove the linkage to beat the old bolt out to make way for the new bolt. It wasn't that hard, but it was not going to happen while the linkage was still attached. Fully removing the linkage was safer than risking damage to my bike.I used Loctite Blue on all the bolts and screws, and went to work putting it all back together. Installing the supplied bolt to attach the TDZ adapter to the shift lever was a pain. I had to align a loose adapter against the lever as I attempted multiple times to get the bolt started while fighting to hold back the shift lever to clear the case. I eventually got it going, but it was a challenge. My next challenge was getting the set screw tight, as it's on the back of the adapter and toward the bottom. It put my fine motor skills to the test.Once I had the adapter fully tightened to my satisfaction, I reinstalled the shift linkage without further issues. I did not have to make any adjustments or refinements to the linkage.Next was the test ride. To be honest, I could barely tell a difference. Shifting felt the same to me, and finding neutral wasn't that much different. This was my experience on my 2018 Sport Glide, but YMMV. If you at times struggle finding neutral, I'm sure this product can help since it does add a little bit of leverage.The installation may not have been fun, but I don't hold that against TDZ. It's simply the dynamics of the bike, and your experience may be completely different. Sometimes things are easy, other times they require more skill and patience.This TDZ EZ Shift gets 5 stars, despite my experience. It's exceptionally well made, and blows the competition away in terms of price.

Ok this actually works, and it does so by changing the angle of the shift linkage to the shift lever. It does not work with the included fasteners and I modified it to work, but I did not use it on the year make and models listed , I used it on a custom bike. It’s well designed and easy to install even with the modification.

Awful logo. Doesnt make a huge difference to the effort required, but DOES make a difference. And I appreciate that their marketing doesnt claim to change the world and is pretty honest about it making just a small difference

I got the Chrome color for use on my 2019 Harley-Davidson Heritage Classic FLHCS 114 motorcycle. It fits perfect and looks good! It definitely made it easier to shift into neutral. Normally to get it into neutral I’d have to rock the bike forward slighly [couldn’t be stationary]. Now I can shift into neutral smooth and easy every time, without moving. I also find it slightly easier to shift into other gears. The part is 2/3rds hidden from the side view. [See close-up photo from side view, not above view.] The install was easy; it took about 5 minutes to the two screws and tighten a 3rd. I added blue locktite to the screws. I picked up the Shift Linkage in a separate purchase; this is a much better value when you get the linkage and assist together at the same time. I expect the main part to hold up well over time. But based on past experiences, I wonder if the chrome screws will rust sooner than expected. Time will tell.

I was looking at upgrading my shift linkage and found this one that comes with the easy shift neutral assist. It is a great value getting them together. I like that having them both at the same time helps save on installs. I thought I was missing bolts till I found them behind my back, so keep track of your parts. The install would have gone much fast if I would not have misplaced the parts. It went on easy except for the one bolt in going into the top hole of the easy shift piece, but with the ratchet things went well. I think it looks great and work like a charm. I can tell a difference in the shifting. Finding neutral has never been easier. So glad I decided to get this kit.
