Beim Dachdecken fallen doch mal Schrauben und Metallteile ins Gras, die man mühsam aufsammeln muss. Mit diesem Gerät geht es schnell und gründlich.

This magnetic pick-up tool seems solid enough, but I am not totally impressed with it.The issue I have found with it is that the tightening procedure for the telescopic handle means that the grip is the wrong way round once you have tightened it. Also, you have to be careful not to over-tighten it or it will just keep rotating.I would have returned it, but this was the only tool of this type that I could find for sale in this country.

I didn't have high expectations with this being so cheap but when it arrived I was impressed with its quality, build and weight, and it really works well. The magnet is strong and can pick up all sorts of small metal items out of grass, off the floor, carpet, rugs etc and I used it to rescue a load of screws which were sat in water in a wheelbarrow after it rained. I wouldn't let it stay wet or damp though as I'm not sure if it would rust, but overall very impressive, great for retrieving small dropped metal items which might otherwise be hard to spot or lots of dropped nails and screws from a workshop or garage floor, saves so much bending - obviously not gold or silver or other non-magnetic items, so don't expect to use it like a metal detector!
