I saw this at a friends places. He recommended it to me.When I ordered it on Amazon it arrived very quick, unfortunately it did not work.The seller never got back to me when I tried to contact them, so I had to send it back.

For some reason the product came with an american plug. The description does not say which plug is used with the device so assumed it come with a regular EU plug. Why is a US plug installed when I order from germany to germany?Please be aware that this might happen to you too.

I borrowed an identical one a few weeks ago on a ski trip, where at the end of each day everyone’s boots were wet and damp. The heater completely dried our boots in under 30 minutes a pair. It doesn’t get too hot, where it might damage form-fitted footbeds. It folds up and is lightweight for packing. I cannot recommend this heater enough. As soon as I got home, I ordered one for myself and plan on using it for an upcoming ski trip. I have not used it on tennis shoes or hiking boots, but I am assuming it will do just as good of a job as it does on wet ski boots.

This product stinks, literally. I bought this because my old boot dyer conked out and I needed one to dry my boots on a 2 week ski trip. This one looked compact and suitable for packing for frequent ski trips.I have used it nightly for 4 nights and keep moving it further away from me as when in use it smells like burning plastic. Tonight I have moved it to another unoccupied bedroom and opened the windows the smell is so overwhelming. II hoped the smell would abate after a couple uses. No, it's just as bad tonight as after the first use. I can't stand this, so it's going back. I find spending $50 on this product more offensive than the smell it emits.
