As an animal lover, I’ve always been concerned about making sure their UV bulbs are working and still producing UV. This test card makes measuring UVB exposure quick and easy. The instructions are super clear, and the cards are reusable, which I love. It's also incredibly easy to use — just place it in your reptile's environment for a short amount of time, and you get an instant reading on whether it is! Yes, it's definitely not as good or accurate as a digital reader, but you're also not paying 10-15x the price.If you're a reptile owner who wants peace of mind about their UV exposure, I highly recommend this.

Ho acquistato questa Crawl Pet UV Test Card e sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. La scheda è utilissima per verificare il livello dei raggi UVB e UVA emessi dalle lampade per rettili, un aspetto fondamentale per garantire il benessere del mio geco leopardino.Pro: • Facile da usare: Basta esporla alla luce della lampada e cambia colore, indicando se i raggi UVB e UVA sono ancora presenti. • Precisa: Permette di capire se la lampadina emette ancora i raggi necessari, anche se sembra visivamente funzionante. • Riutilizzabile: Posso usarla ogni volta che voglio fare un controllo.Importanza:Per chi non lo sapesse, i raggi UVB sono essenziali per stimolare la sintesi di vitamina D nei rettili, indispensabile per la salute delle ossa. Senza questi raggi, il rettile potrebbe andare incontro a gravi problemi come malformazioni ossee. Questo prodotto è perfetto per evitare che ciò accada.Durata delle lampade:Anche le lampade migliori hanno una durata limitata (circa 6-9 mesi, a seconda dell’uso giornaliero), ma questa card è un valido strumento per sapere quando è il momento di sostituirle senza rischiare di anticipare o ritardare troppo.Consiglio vivamente questo prodotto a chi possiede rettili! Ich bin sehr zufrieden, bei der zuletzt gekauften Lampe erscheint die Farbe auf der Karte am dunkelsten.Bei den anderen je nach Alter der Glühbirne entsprechend abgeschwächt, aber alle zeigen eine Reaktion, sind aber bis maximal ein gutes halbes Jahr alt

For years I wondered how to check the lights making sure I wouldn't throw away good lighting and keeped doing the one year cycle... This avoids waste and works very well. Since each card can be used hundreds of times I think it's an investment that will return a lot of value and less waste. Highly recommended product :)

Ne fonctionne pas du tout sur 5 cartes aucune a changées de couleur. J'ai changé de lampes et mm résultats. Une arnaque de plus...

This is really a money-saver! Every reptile owner out there should get these, seriously. No more guessing if there is still UVB in all our reptile lighting, and no need to exchange light only based on months of use. No we can tell for sure! Money to save! Also, I have noticed, by testing different UVB lights here at home, that the color depth on the card actually signal amount of UVB: when tested on an Arcadia 12% UVB T8 it went dark purple, when tested on a 6% UVB compact fluorescent, it became light purple. So there is some sort of gradeing in colour intensity based on UVB strength too. Brilliant!
