At first glance, I thought these would be too flat for a tea bag, probably because I'm used to using a spoon and wrapping the string around it to squeeze the bag. But after trying these tea tongs, I LOVE them! It's the perfect size to grasp the bag and squeeze it dry. I also use it to squeeze the bag in the water while it's steeping, to help circulate the water through the bag and get all the tea out of the leaves. These tongs are well-made, smooth stainless steel, no rough edges and goes through the dishwasher with no problems. The two pack is nice, so you have a spare to use for another person, or other beverages. I also use these to get food that may need to be squeezed of it's extra liquid, like cole slaw or sauerkraut. Now I use them all the time!

These work well, meaning that I do not now constantly burn fingers removing the the tea bag.Love it.

I usually use a spoon to take my tea bag out of my cup and sometimes the spoon slips and what a mess. These tea bag squeezers makes taking my tea bag out a lot easier and no more mess.
