Our r/c crazy 13 year old has been running and racing cars and trucks for about four years, and the Traxxas Bandit was his first higher-end remote control vehicle... and it has probably been his favorite.He has experimented with many combinations of axles, tires, pinions, and spur gears to boost torque or top-end, and this spur gear is just one of many in that quest. It continues to withstand the punishment he gives it, and it is easy to install. Run with a 26t pinion provides a rear wheel gear ratio of about 9:1 leaving it with enough torque and acceleration to get it through the dirt and still accelerate out of the turn and getting decent top end. The Bandit is an A+ ride () for its price!The availability of replacement parts for the Bandit, like this gear, greatly exceeded our expectations. These Traxxas cars and parts have been, and continue to be, an outstanding learning experience for him and that has been a blast to watch evolve.If you need a spur gear like this, or even if you just want to have one as a spare in your tool box, you will not be sorry that you did.
