started leaking in just under a year. But hey it was 9 months longer then the one I got from China. Still a pain in the ass. Not bad for the price I guess. A little disappointed to be honest. I'm wrapping my next one in fiberglass. Good luck

Image is miss leading only comes with one o-ring, when the image clearly shows 2 o-rings.

Works OK on my 99 Passat 1.8t but did not come with 2 o-rings shown only 1. I wasn't sure if there was an o-ring where it connects to the hard line pipe because my broken flange one must have fallen off during repair. So I used some rtv gasket maker I had laying around but it didn't hold. It needed o-ring part number 058 121 687. This caused me to have a leak in my coolant and an extra $5 o-ring plus the hassle of redoing this repair. Make sure you buy that o-ring if you plan on purchasing this part.

Functional, but as was stated by the other reviewer this includes only one O-Ring, despite the photo showing two. YOU WILL NEED ONE O-RING VW/AUDI PART NUMBER 058-121-687 to connect the coolant hose! Otherwise you will be stuck reusing your existing O-Ring (bad idea), or waiting to do the job until you order that necessary O-Ring. Part looks otherwise fine, functional.

This part seems to be of similar or better quality compared to the OEM flange and the o-ring is an improved design. I would recommend this part to anyone repairing a coolant leak on the 1.8T engine.
