Over all build and quality seems really nice. I may end up keeping it, but I am disappointed that this is advertised as quick release but it definitely isn't. If that's not a deal breaker. It seems like a nice plate carrier for the price.

Nice form factor and the size fits pretty well, the shoulder pads kinda rub a bit and are a bit thicker than I would like but maybe thats not all that bad when getting pelted with bbs but wouldn't have minded a slight angle to them to prevent rubbing against the neck. The material is tough and should take a good bit of abuse given the siming hobby that's for the best. The quick release lever doesn't have the best tolerance and is pretty tight so I really have to get into the habit of using 'too much' force when pulling at the tab to get it to engage and release the latch and get the vest on or off.Some room for improvement but pretty decent when I have seen vests costing a good thirty bucks more and having way worse sewing along the edges of the buckles or linings along the mag pouches.

I like! I didn't think I would at first, but in person, this is a pretty nice vest. It has all the accoutrements you would expect. Goes on and off very quickly and is fully adjustable. The quick connect straps are nicer than I thought they would be also.Has loads of matching magazine pouches, two zipper pouches, the water pouch, and holds plates front back and sides. The camo is fairly cool, all the free space is covered in molle loops and velcro.The materials are nice, high quality and should last a long time. This is a real winner.

Over the last few years, I've had the opportunity to test out several of these plate carriers. I can say with certainty that some are good, some.. not so much. This vest, like most others; is kind of a mixed bag of good and bad. Let's get into the details!First, when I opened the bag, I realized this carrier came with a lot of other accessories! There's a triple mag pouch, 2 single mag pouches, 2 admin pouches and a water-bladder pouch.The front and rear bags are of a fairly standard type, with some padding on the inside of each bag. There are quick release tubes on each shoulder. The rear plate bag also has a drag handle, which is a nice addition. Both front and rear bags have the "kangaroo flap" to adjust the cummerbund, so if you want a different cummerbund, plan accordingly. Speaking of the cummerbund, it is wide and has pockets to accept side plates. Each side of the cummerbund terminates in a quick release tube as well.All that sounds pretty good, right? Well, here are some downsides that I noticed: First, it's large. If you're any smaller than 6'2" and 215lbs, you're going to have to do a LOT of adjustment. I'm a "Medium" sized person, and I couldn't get the shoulder straps tight enough. Same for the cummerbund. The comical thing here is that the plate bags themselves aren't much larger than the plates they carry. Speaking of the bags, I found loose threads everywhere, some attached, some not. Also, the padding is thin, but quite stiff. I'm not really sure how that helps with comfort. Also, a friend of mine says that this carrier "glows" under infrared light, so if night operations are something you plan on doing, that may be an issue.So there's the long and short of it. Does this fit into your purposes? You'll have to decide!

I ordered this because I was looking for a new rig that I could run drills in and this was in my feed.First off, the quick-release system did take a minute to get used to but now I love it. After a few outings I did find that it was super fast to get in and out of. The adjustments are solid to, so if you want to go heavy or light it's easy to adjust.The vest itself feels durable but isn’t overly heavy, so you can move comfortably while still feeling protected. Bonus points for the padded shoulders. I’ve worn this a few times in extended trainings and it hasn't worn my shoulders down. For the price, this is a solid option!
