Both sides are the same, M42x0.75, so none of the sides fits the standard M42 pentax mount, which is the M42x1. Product quality is OK though and the M42x0.75 fits nicely the corresponding adaptor.

I used this to fit a helical focuser to the drawtube of an Altair 60mm guide scope. The threads are machined well, giving a smooth assembly and tightens nicely, holding firmly in place.
