I found it's as easy to weigh out the clay and use my hands to work and form the clay. I was curious about it so I tried it out. Not really that impressed by it. Maybe others possess the magic to make it worthwhile but I don't see the value.

Unfortunately the parts on one piece (the smaller bead roller) of this bead roller set do not align properly making it difficult to get a round bead. Not worth the price in my opinion. Would not recommend. Last 2 images are the second piece (large bead roller) which do align properly, showing the difference and how it should look.

I have seen these clay bead rollers on videos but have never tried to use one myself until now. I had to try multiple times to get the right amount of clay in the slot and then I slid the two halves back and forth quickly quite a few times in order to get the bead. At times I used a bit too much clay and at times, not enough clay, so all of the beads didn't turn out well the first time. For a beginner, it takes some practice to know how much clay to use and I have found that the halves start to slide a lot more easily once the bead is well formed. The bead rollers are sturdy. This is a nice clay crafting tool to have around!

I bought this as a gift for my very artistic granddaughter. We tried it yesterday and were delighted with the results. By putting the newly made beads in the refrigerator for a few hours it was easy to put holes into even the tiny 6 mm beads by using a 22 gauge wire. Love this and will definitely buy one for myself!

My wife says: I was pleasantly surprised to find out how well these little clay bead rollers actually worked. If you take some care in how much clay you put in the track you get out remarkably good beads!
