Loved the grinder and even recommended to family and friends. I had the grinder for approx 6 months but a few days ago, the sleeve to the grinder came loose. I no longer can get a firm grip on the grinder while manually using it because of the defect and have to grasp it from the base which tortures my wrist. I contacted customer support to get a replacement (they advertise 365 day warranty) but as of now, received negative response. Since the product is defective after 6 months, and customer service is non existence, take your business elsewhere.Update: the seller reached out to me. They agreed with providing me with a replacement. The replacement arrived quickly. Because of this and the fact they honor their warranty, I highly recommend the company and their product.

I bought one of these and liked it so much I bought another, one for the camper and one for the house. On the latest purchase, the crank handle goes on with much more difficulty. I can get it on, but it doesn't just go on like it does with the other one. So at this point, I have mixed feelings about the grinders. One is about perfect, the other not quite so perfect.

I love manual coffee grinders, so I have tried several cheaper ones - mostly the ones with stainless steal body and ceramic grinder - which I had no complaints with, until I met this one! This thing does not only look chic and modern in my kitchen, but it grinds so well! I usually struggle with ceramic grinders but this one grinds smoothly until the last bean. I think I am grinding 2-3 times faster with this than the others. The only cons is that I will be doing less workout on my arms trying to grind coffee beans in the morning.

Works well but, I bought this grinder to replace my smaller grinder I really like. It easily does 20g. I was hoping this new grinder would be able to do the 40g (up to) as advertised to save a step making my 24 ounce pour over coffee in the morning. Even if I shake the beans down and with it so full the lid is not seated I'm only able to get 33 to 35g. So I either need to grind beans twice to get my 40 or make 2 smaller cups of coffee.They did advertise "Up to 40g", just doesn't get there for me. It's a good grinder for the money if you aren't looking for 40g at once. Just wish it did the 40g I was hoping for.**Update** I was able to grind 40g if I added lighter roast beans to slightly over full. I think my "medium" roast beans were a bit on the dark side. All is right in the world once again.
