Update: I have used this for several small jobs now. It works. It has random failures. When the battery get around 50% we started having a high rate of failure.Vevor website shows this unit has been discontinued.The last job I had 5 successful splices in a row then the last splice failed twice.I have access to a fiber certifier and they all passed.For the price it's okay as a backup or for side jobs.I just got this unit. It looks okay. I still need to test it out. The issue I have is it shows in the menu the production and warranty dates. According to the machine I have 1 month of warranty.. I have seen a few reviews of this device that all seemed positive. I use a fiberfox mini 6s for work but wanted my own splicer to do little jobs. The price is right on this splicer but the warranty date is concerning.

Personally, I work as a contractor for a Fiber Internet company and since I don't see it anywhere on the info, how many splices can this splicer do with its electrodes? My personal only complaint is that it's a shorter battery life but honestly for its size, it's just how it is. As long as I maintained good battery, it's good.
