This is a very good product from Vortex but I returned mine as I preferred to use a different Vortex bubble level that I thought has a stronger mounting bracket. I own several Vortex products now and I've never been disappointed. I think this is a great product but I just had a different preference, no fault of Vortex. This does have a very low profile which may be desirable for some shooters. It also has a very clean look when mounted on a scope, so I believe it deserves a good look before turning it down.

11-1-2020 Update:I've had this level for a few years now and up until last week it's worked fairly well. During a match I was shooting, I must have slammed my rifle into a barricade causing the level to move. Since this was a long range precision rifle match, this caused me major issues and tons of misses and I did not figure out what the issue was until the next day when I took a closer look at everything. The lesson is, don't rely on your bubble level... Learn to hold the rifle without cant and use the level as a spot check. If you sit at a range all day and punch paper, it probably doesn't matter - however once you get into the field and start being on gear a little bit these bubble levels can certainly be prone to failure. I reset my bubble level and will keep it on my rifle, as it is faster to use when on the clock, but I definitely think this tool is a crutch for a lot of newer shooters. Learn to set the rifle up properly and shoulder a level rifle on a flat range. Use the bubble level as a way to spot check.- - - - - - - - - - - - - -I own 2 of these at this point. One for my Vortex Razor HD II 4.5-27x and the other is on a Vortex Viper PST Gen II 3-15x. This bubble level has stayed in place as long as I have had it on my rifles, which are 308 and 6.5 Creedmoor. When shooting out to longer ranges, making sure your rifle is level is very important and this bubble level certainly gets the job done.Note: I purchased the pre-owned option because it was significantly cheaper and it came in the box and looks to be brand new. Boom!
