I wasn't sure about this to start with as I'd never heard of the brand and the listing is a little spartan. But then I checked the reviews and I'm glad I did.I usually order size L and the jacket is true to size with enough room underneath to wear a jumper or a fleece. The padding is not too thick but doesn't need to be, it's nice and warm. The lower pockets are a good size - I can fit my thermal cup entirely in one of them and the handwarmer pockets are just the right height and depth. There is a large poachers pocket inside but I've not use that yet. My only real gripe about the jacket is that the elasticated cuffs inside the sleeves are a little high up and felt odd the first few times wearing it. I'm used to it now, though. Oh, and the zip is a bit... odd. I don't know why wax jackets always seem to come with the double-ended zip - I'm not going lambing in it in the spring!Anyway, those minor niggles aside, it's a great jacket from what appears to be a good, home-grown brand. The jacket is well made, comfortable and exactly as described in the listing. I'll happily recommend Walker and Hawkes to anyone.

I’ve been searching for years for a quality coat that had the versatility to wear over a thin business shirt and keep me warm or with multiple layers of clothing underneath, when travelling to the southern states, and trips to New Zealand.Walking the dogs, going to the footy at night this cost is perfect. I will also use it when I head to Alaska and Canada in a month and although still summer there, the average temperature will be around 11°C so add a little wind and rain and I think I’m going be very comfortable in my new Walker & Hawkes coat.Sizing:My strong recommendation is to use the manufacturers sizing..Amazon recommended a 2XL and I needed a 4XL.Normally a 3XL would do the job, but the 4XL just gives you the opportunity to layer when you need to.5.8 and 118kgs.This is perfect for a variety of occasions dress up or dress down, but stay comfortable, you won’t be disappointed.Thanks Walker and Hawkes!

Super Jacke in prima Qualität. Aus England auch nach einer Woche und damit 9 Tage eher als angegeben geliefert. Meine Frau möchte jetzt auch eine....

Equal to higher price brands , internal pocket is needed ( not have) and sleeves are a bit shorter. Otherwize excellent- order 1 size larger than normally

Moin zusammen, ich habe lange überlegt, ob ich mir eine Wachsjacke kaufen soll.Aufgrund einer Rezession habe ich mich dann für diese Jacke entschieden.Preis Leistung stimmen völlig überein.Die Jacke wirkt hochwertig, sauber verarbeitet, keine Fehler etc. nach dem Auspacken gefunden.Und das beste, sie passt super, ich ca. 178 groß ,77 kg. schwer habe die Jacke in L. bestellt.Normal trage ich 52/54 einfache Umrechnung 10 abziehen und schon hast du deine englische Größe raus.

Ich bin 185cm und wiege 80kgDie Jacke passt gut. Noch genug Platz für ein Hemd und Pullover. Aber!!! Die Arme waren locker 10cm zu kurz. Ich habe bestimmt keine „Affenarme“ aber die sind wirklich extrem kurz.Leider. Ansonsten super Qualität.

I am 6'4" tall and weigh 230lbs and this (L size) coat fits me perfectly. The coat is of absolutely splendid quality and makes the Barbour and Dubarry equivalents seem very overpriced indeed. The length is just right and the slot pockets are perfectly positioned and the coat is tremendously warm. W&H does make more expensive and presumably better coats, but I don't know what else you'd need from a waxed coat that this one does not provide; this coat comes highly recommended.The coat arrives newly waxed, so it's advisable to hang it out to dry off somewhere like your garage for about 48 hours before throwing it straight into the closet, or else the oily residue may rub off on other items. The hood is indeed small and seemingly inadequate, but I don't plan on using it very much, if at all. I am also reliably informed by those who wear this while hunting (I regrettably do not have the spare time for field sports), that the hood is necessarily small so the hunter retains a good field of vision; this is, I suppose, a fair trade for a wet face.Hunter or not, the hood is by the by for me, this is a great coat and it is impressive quality at a truly unbeatable price.

Super Qualität, scheint auch wintertauglich zu sein.Das Einzige was ich vermisse, ist eine Innentasche vorne für Brieftaschen oder ähnliches.Aber ich bin sehr zufrieden!
