Good fit on our old dog bed. Hopefully it will wear well over time. Fair price. Would buy again if it holds up.

These dog bed covers are offered in a variety of materials and sizes. I got the waterproof one for an old doggie who's getting incontinent. It is just a slick water-repellent/waterproof cover, well made (sewn) of good, but thin, material, it looks like. I put this on over the stuffing, which also made it somewhat easier to slide into the original cover (there's Lots of extra material @42" size, well gathered by the elastic.) If there's an accident, the original cover will have to absorb it (and get washed) and this will keep the stuffing dry, which would be the biggest disaster if it got wet! I will update this review if that's not the way it works out.For this use, if your original cover is also worn out, you would want to get 2 of these, one as a nice cloth outer shell, and this inside to protect the stuffing. This water repellent material would not work as the outermost layer with a dog, the way they scratch their bedding and sharp nails. This material is pretty thin (but not flimsy, it's fine as a water proof layer) and would not stand up to a dog getting on and off their bed. Just so you know what you're getting into...

These got my big Costco round dog bed nicely and they beds last longer with this easy to clean cover. Dogs love them.

I bought this cover to keep the original cover clean. Unfortunately, my dogs like to "make" a nest by pawing their beds and now it has MANY snag/pulls in it. I use it anyway, but was disappointed that it was so fragile.
