I used the basket for my picnic and it stored a decent amount of food. Doesn’t store a whole lot though maybe a container or two and some napkins. It’s very study though and not cheap at all. It feels authentic.

Super nice. I wanted a nice sewing basket but because of my strange vintage decorating ideas I needed one that was functional as well as looked good to sit on top of armoire. It’s well made and the quality is perfect for my needs. My last basket was thin and cracked but this one is perfect.

This basket is so well put together it looks like quality above its price, the inside is beautifully lined and has this lovely overlap which is visible on the outside creating an almost victorian look about it. The hinges are of a beige nylon with the weave threaded around to create a strong fixture for the flaps that exist to cover your food and prevent insects from landing on your sandwiches or cakes. Overall i’m very pleased with my purchase and i think you will be too, its a very attractive piece of work and very functional. A five star purchase ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Well made, holds anything we would need for a picnic or feast at an SCA event. (Not food, but plates, bowls, utensils, etc.)This could also make a great sewing/project basket for sewing, embroidery, knitting, etc.The fabric liner is nice, but some may find it too thin, but it is easily replaced if you would like.
