These are very thin sheets of cork (1mm or less) with a self-adhesive back which I've applied to the smooth bases of a couple of phone and tablet stands so far. The thin material is easy to cut with scissors or craft knife and the protective backing peels off easily. It was easy to stick to anodised aluminium bases and the added friction of the cork means that those bases can be left on a sloping surface without simply sliding off. The cork is so thin that is doesn't affect the stand's centre of balance. The adhesive seems secure enough for general use. Time will tell how the thin cork holds up in use but it seems fine so far.Do ignore some of the marketing nonsense in the listing: this stuff is not suitable for a photo wall as it's far to thin to accept pins and suggesting that “Meanwhile, you can also write on the cork as a notice board or message board “ is clearly just flailing around for something to put in the sales copy.It is what is though and it does that pretty well. It's perfect for what I wanted.

These are what they say they are - very thin sticky-back cork sheets. I got them to make drink coasters out of some tiles, and they're perfectly fine for that purpose, but they wouldn't be useful for much else. You absolutely couldn't make a corkboard out of these and expect to actually use it unless you backed it with thick cardboard, as 1mm is far too thin.
