The hinges were a perfect replacement for my Surface 6. I only used the inside hinge part as that was the part that was broken on my machine. This allowed me to fix the hinge without taking the screen off. Thank you YouTube. You'll need a Torx T-3 screwdriver and small file to remove a small edge on the hinge, plus tin snips to break the hinge frame.Although I only used the inside hinge part, the whole piece seems made of quality materials.
