I've had a set of hole drills that are the flat blade style and have found several times that they aren't the easiest to use. It's fine if you guess the right diameter and drill the hole, but if you're off, it's very difficult to use the next size up and widen the hole. When I saw these, I realized that problem wouldn't exist and you have a lot more flexibility with the size of the holes. I'm impressed with the weight and sturdy feel of these bits. They definitely feel like high quality bits. The case is pretty good also, though a couple of them had shifted around during shipment. Not a huge deal and no damage. I also missed any type of instruction sheet and am not exactly sure how to correctly use the punch tool thing. But overall I'm really happy with the quality and all the variety of hole sizes possible with this set.

They feel like a normal standard run of the drill bits that you get at Menards or Harbor freight. The only difference between those and these is the case that you get for it and it also could still deliver it to your house. Relatively fast it functions perfectly normal quality on them is perfect for relatively normal use. I will not say that I do ask you every single day

These Christmas tree bits are real useful for drilling/enlarging holes in thinner, softer materials. The quality on these particular bits is such that I will reserve them for use on plastic, aluminum, and thin gauge steel. I don't believe they would last long against thicker steel, but there are always more expensive alternatives for heavier duty use. These are good value for money.

Brand: ZkaybbComplete set of step drill bits that save a lot of time when drilling large holes, particularly in metal. Don't use these on super hard metal like stainless steel or AR500 or you will kill them fast. But on soft metal and anything else (wood, plastic, etc.) they are great. Use the next step up to deburr both edges when you are done.This is a great value - even when compared to the national cheapo-tools store, these are a bargain for 5 bits and a spring loaded punch. The punch makes it easier to get the dent in the exact right place - you place the tip and then slowly push - the spring inside gives it a good thump and indent.The aluminum folding case with cutouts and latch is pretty fancy also!

The bits are not very sharp. Takes a long time to make the same cut other bits make. The color of the sic piece set I received is not as pictured. The color in the five piece picture is what I got in the six piece set. These are not bad but not great either. They'll do the job but for a beginner set.
