Beyond the fact that it came with a faulty DisplayPort cable, there's also the problem that it will "skip" constantly: the monitors would consistently display, but my headphones, keyboard, and mouse would all cut out and become inoperable for ~2-3 seconds before turning back on again. This would happen sometimes once every few minutes, sometimes several times a minute. This was maddening enough that I returned the product. Would not recommend.

Non funziona; ho il rimpianto che l'ho installato quando ormai non potevo più fare il reso.

I often work with temporary systems on my workbench where I need to hook them up to repair or run diagnostics. A KVM is a requirement for this type of work, just laying out cables that can be connected quickly without moving peripherals around. This has made it very easy to upgrade my workbench that only had capability for 2 computers, and now I can hook up my 2 systems and have 2 spare locations to hook up and run extra systems easily. They all share multiple monitors, which is pretty fancy, and I didn't even need that capability, but the switching is seamless, all hardware driven, and I haven't found a system yet that has any problem with any of the peripherals I am using. The switching speed is quick, and keyboard/mouse/printer/USB drive/monitors all connect quickly and resolution changes fast. I appreciate the bright lights in the front, but if I didn't need them, I would tape over them with a small piece of black electrical tape like I do my other devices for light discipline.Overall, does a great job, and I've had absolutely no problems with 4 PCs, switching them out quickly and switching USB devices to test as well. It's a workhorse.

Bought this because it's way less expensive than other available options. The unit is solid. It is no frills in terms of its features, but does what I want.I am only driving two Full HD monitors now, from a laptop and a desktop.Because it doesn't have EDID, windows dance around when switching from one computer to the other. But Windows 11 seems to handle that pretty well. One of my monitors gets confused after switching back to the laptop, as if it got out of synch. From Windows Display settings, changing the refresh rate and setting it back clears the problem. I can live with that given the price. Also, the monitor is 7 years old and could probably use a good hard slap. The USB 3.0 switch is rock solid. My previous USB 2.0 KVM could not handle the devices I wanted to use. My Canon scanner software is notoriously finicky. It used to cry, "Device is locked!" all the time. This KVM supports it and the software doesn't freak out when I switch. At 1/4 the price of a 4x3 KVM with EDID, I'm quite satisfied with the performance.I will update in February, when I add a UHD monitor.
