DONT BUY!! I installed exactly as intended. I had it snug. 3 of the 4 posts broke apparently during installation so as I’m trolling around my Minn Kota just takes off into the lake. Luckily I was able to drag it up by the power cable but it scratched my boat up and left me on the lake 3 hours from home without a plan. Hard pass on these pieces of garbage

Used it to secure my trolling motor on the boat bow. Motor seems very secure using them.

I've used these for years to mount not only trolling motors but, a multitude of other things that needed to be insolated from what they were mounted to. Predominately I use them to mount tool boxes to the bed of my pickups. Once the tool boxes are mounted they don't move at all and there is no noise attributed to the box rubbing of the fender.

These made the install of my trolling motor and quick connect bracket super easy. I couldn’t reach the forward bolts to fasten them. These hold tight and are super secure. Awesome
