ein weitwinkel mit dem sich nicht nur normale weitwinkel aufnahmen machen lassen.Etwas kreativ sein ist notwendig dann lassen sich tolle aufnahmen mit dem 15mm machen.

Depois de ler alguns comentários avancei para a compra e estou muito satisfeito com os resultados. Muito boa relação qualidade/preço.

Aún no la he usado mucho, tengo que coger el punto a esta lente. En el lado positivo, es una lente muy luminosa y muy, muy nítida. El enfoque manual no es problema para mi. De hecho lo prefiero al automático. La rueda de enfoque tiene el punto justo entre suavidad y firmeza. La posición de enfoque se puede bloquear. El enfoque a infinito es super-preciso. La primera vez que lo usé enfoqué al cielo nocturno, puse el zoom x10, giré la rueda hasta enfocar perfectamente las estrellas, y el enfoque óptimo estaba justo en la marca de infinito del objetivo (no siempre es así). Esta posición se queda casi fija con un "clic".Hay dos cosas que no me gustan: el parasol es inútil, pues se mete en las esquinas de la imagen; si el sol no está detrás o muy ladeado hay destellos. Como la uso sobre todo para fotografía nocturna no es algo que me incomode, pero me parece un fallo de diseño (sobre todo lo del parasol). Me pregunto si la lente frontal esférica no podría estar más retraída en el cuerpo para mejorar la protección. Cuando le quitas la tapa, la lente frontal se ve tan cerca del borde que da la impresión de que un falso movimiento con la tapa o un filtro roscado y la vas a golpear. Supongo que no se puede retraer más, porque con semejante ángulo de visión habría viñeteo. Hablando de viñeteo, a f2.8 hay un viñeteo apreciable, que no desaparece hasta cerrar un par de pasos el diafragma. Se puede corregir fácimente en el revelado. Eso sí, las estrellas salen super-puntuales.Añadido el 29 de abril: tras algunas pruebas adicionales, he decidido darle una estrella más, hasta las 5. Los problemas señalados (parasol, destellos) ahí están pero, como casi siempre uso este objetivo de noche, no lo son para mi realmente. El viñeteado se corrige fácilmente con un programa de edición. Y, además, todos los objetivos viñetean en mayor o menor grado. Lo que me parece increíble y es su mayor valor para el uso que le doy a esta lente es la nitidez de esquina a esquina de la imagen, y la casi ausencia de coma, fundamentales en fotografía nocturna.Siguiente paso: probar el filtro anti contaminación lumínica de Irix y el portafiltros con rosca de 95 mm que permite acoplar filtros de densidad neutra y degradados de 100x150 mm para foto diurna.

Ich habe ein neues Objektiv bestellt und ein gebrauchtes erhalten.Schon der Originalkarton ist geöffnet und hat viele Fingerabdrücke.Die mitgelieferte schwarze Box hat Dellen und Kratzer.Die Gegenlichtblende weißt ebenfalls Kratzer auf.Geht sofort Retour.Ich bin von Amazon Qualität gewöhnt.

Ein super Ultraweitwinkel zu einem unschlagbaren Preis.Gestochen Schärfe Aufnahmen und selbst bei Offenblende kaum Verzeichnung. Auch die typischen Randunscharfen bei Offenblende sind kaum der Rede wert.Hatte zuvor das Samyang 14mmf2. 8 und war völlig unzufrieden (3x getauscht und letzten Endes zurückgegeben. Das Irix schlägt das Samyang um Längen!!!

Outstanding lens. The Irix lens experience starts with amazing packaging. Once you get to the lens; the Blackstone experience keeps being positive - it feels hefty but not L series hefty and the focus dial is buttery smooth. It is manual focus; but auto aperture. I have several Zeiss lenses with the same manual focus auto aperture and enjoy using them. If you have a Canon Eos R there is a great focus assist for manual focus that gives you a pseudo Rangefinder focus experience. I first put the lens through its paces on a bright January morning; and I'm happy with the colors it returns, along with the wide rectilinear image. The York Minster photo attached is a good example; the building is falling down but you cant sort that in lens without a tilt shift (please irix?) The bits I like are sharpness across the frame; you can see the bricks and scaffold are all nicely in focus. On the full size you can read the inscription on the statue; so the lens really delivers on its promise of high resolution.For carrying around its a bit of a niche lens; though its for big things like Cathedrals. The picture is far superior to the Samyang 14mm I have been using for astrophotography and those times a super wide angle lens will help. I'm looking forward to trying the Irix out with astrophotography when I can get out of the city. For carrying around its much lighter than most of my l lenses; and especially lighter than the Otus and Milvus lenses.Compared to the Zeiss lenses I have this relatively affordable lens is a great performed. It doesn't quite stretch to their performance but its massively cheaper and a tweak of the colors in Lightroom gets you there.

Schon das Auspacken ist beeindrucken: Metallbox, darin eine sehr stabile Hülle und dann das massive Objektiv. Ein Genuß!Das Objektiv fühlt sich auch richtig gut an; der Fokusring läuft saugend, bei unendlich ist eine deutliche Raste zu spüren, aber man kann ein wenig darüber hinaus drehen. Auch die Sonnenblende mit Fenster zum Verstellen eines Polfilters spricht für ein durchdachtes Produkt.Die Testbilder waren auch klasse. Scharf und ab f4 auch bis in die Ecken. Ein Panorama im Wohnzimmer mit 6 Bildern für 360° war auch OK. Soweit also Begeisterung pur!...und dann habe ich nachts bei Halbmond einige Bilder gemacht und selbst mit dem Mond außerhalb des Bildfeldes waren noch deutliche Lens Flares zu sehen. Am Morgen der Sonnenaufgang mit der Sonne in der Bildmitte hatte einen dicken roten Ring; mit der Sonne in der Ecke kamen wieder die Flares hervor. Aufblenden hilft etwas, aber insgesamt fand ich das Ergebnis unschön.Mit der Sonne im Rücken ist das Irix 15mm ein tolles Objektiv, aber die Lens Flares haben mich so gestört, daß ich das Objektiv zurückgeschickt habe. Ich werde wohl tief in die Tasche greifen und das Sigma 14mm/f1.8 anschaffen.

Mon domaine de prédilection étant les paysages , j'étais à la recherche d'un UGA pour compléter mon 24-70mm Nikon.Mes critères : budget 500/600€, focal fixe, possibilité d'adapter des filtres et évidemment un piqué digne de ce nom.Après plusieurs recherches sur la toile, quelques modèles sont sortis du lot parmi les marques les plus connues....j'avoue que c'est la curiosité de tester un "nouvel" arrivant qui l'a emporté.Et bien je ne regrette pas mon choix !Excellente qualité de fabrication (du moins visuellement, le temps sera seul juge!), légèreté (quel bonheur !), une bague de MAP très précise et réglable ! un design soigné (même le packaging !) et évidemment un excellent piqué !Bref, un excellent objectif avec un rapport qualité/prix au top, je le recommande donc chaudement pour la photo de paysage, urbaine, architecture ! ;-)***J'attends avec impatience la sortie du porte filtre Irix IFH-100 (promis début janvier 2018 !)***

Ich habe vor dem IRIX (wie so viele) das Walimex 14mm 2.8 gehabt und habe mich entschieden, das IRIX zu holen. Das Objektiv überzeugt meiner Meinung nach für Astrofotografie auf ganzer Linie. Tagsüber habe ich es bislang noch nicht eingesetzt. Von der Auflösung und der Abbildungsqualität ist meiner Meinung nach das IRIX mindestens eine Klasse besser wie das Walimex.

Before anything else, I should mention: I shoot on a Nikon D810, so that's part of the reason I can "get away with" some of the methods and aesthetic preferences I favor. If you shoot with a camera that has a much lower resolution, you shouldn't expect the same amount of clarity/detail - my own experience with this lens will likely be different than yours.So, that said:I've only had this lens for a couple weeks now but I'm already in love with it. I've always been a huge fan of wide angles, I tend to really favor my 35mm lens for everything but portraits (and even then I usually start out with the 35 just for fun). Lately, I've been asked to shoot some real estate/property photos and video clips and one of the biggest things I needed to really emphasize the space I'm shooting in was a wider lens. I did a little research and decided that trying out the Irix Blackstone was worth the "risk" because it gave me a pretty significant bump in the max aperture department.I do not regret it.This has very quickly become my favorite lens, though not for everything. It's definitely not a portrait lens and its application as far as product photography is fairly limited, but I've never had more fun shooting outside in my life and I'm VERY excited to start shooting spaces. The distortion is minimal and (though you have to be careful going handheld) it's also super clear even at the edges. I literally didn't notice any distortion at all until I set it up as close to perfectly level as possible and shot a brick wall straight-on, and even then it wasn't enough for anyone not-in-the-know to notice.I specifically got the Blackstone because of its rugged construction and hard case, both of which were largely understated on the Amazon page and on the site - I never held or used the Firefly, but the Blackstone feels AMAZING and SOLID and the case is fantastic as well. The lens came inside the hard case and THAT was in a metal box tightly packed with die-cut foam inserts; the whole thing was actually beautifully presented and I was pretty surprised how nice it all was. Furthermore, the infinity focus lock feature is the best thing I never knew I needed and it's spot-on perfectly smack dab dead on the infinity mark, so I can kind of just not worry about it as long as I'm going for max focus.I'm gonna put up a couple images so you guys can see, they're just some test shots I took while I was out and about getting a feel for the new lens. One thing you'll notice in one of the images is that there's a weird halo lens flare - that only happens if a particularly bright light is put pretty much dead center, which is a thing I don't do much of so it doesn't really affect me.I guess in summation, I freaking love this lens and I'm almost more excited about it than I was about getting the camera in the first place.

Da es einen 95mm Filter hat kann man problemlos mit einem Step-up Ring auf 105mm erweitern und den sowieso schon vorhandenen 105mm CirPol-Filter draufhauen, was einfach fantastisch ist.Das Objektiv ist sehr scharf, auch auf f/2.8, es hat wenig Coma, wenig Vignettierung und viele tolle Gimmicks, wie den Infinity Lock oder die Möglichkeit, Gelatine-Filter einzuschieben. Auch die floureszierenden Markierungen sind super.Das Objektiv fühlt sich sehr wertig an, es ist nicht umsonst komplett wasserfest und aus wertigen Materialien gefertigt.Ich wäre mit diesem Objektiv glücklich geworden, wenn es nicht die verrücktesten Flares aufweisen würde. Beispielbilder wurden mit einer D810 aufgenommen. Es gibt kaum/keinen Winkel zur Sonne, bei dem es nicht zu bildzerstörenden Flares kommt.Ich möchte dazu sagen, dass alle Ultraweitwinkelobjektive anfällig sind für Flares, aber sowas wie beim Irix habe ich noch nicht erlebt.Ich gebe trotzdem 4 Sterne da das Objektiv einfach sehr gut durchdacht und gut gemacht wurde von einer Firma die noch keine Erfahrung auf dem Objektivmarkt hat und von der man sicher noch einiges hören wird. Ich bin mir auch sicher, dass viele Fotografen mit diesem Objektiv glücklich werden!
